Our charity is based on the instruction in the Scripture verse Galatians 6:10 - to do good especially to the family of God. Our aim is still the same as it was in 1807 - to serve older Christians.

Are Our Churches Ageist?
You often hear people saying that children are the future church. But God says that church is a family, with both young and old. He has planned a balance in the church so that the energies of the young benefit the elders, and the wisdom and experience of the elders benefit the young. A packed seminar at Christian Resources Exhibition heard Roger Hitchings give biblical principles and practical examples of how this is working in his, and some other churches.

A new book written by a British psychologist describes in secular terms methods of relating to sufferers that (unknowingly) espouse Christian principles. It's a book we recommend, together with our own, for its compassionate, practical insights.
